Program info

Alpha Four puts real database power in your hands. You don't have to be an expert to build complex database systems. Design your own applications complete with custom menus and help screens.
Alpha Four is a networkable relational database management and application development system for both novice and expert users. It is fully menu driven with built in scripting capability. Microsoft Windows is the market leader of personal computer operating systems, but many people still have legacy systems built in Alpha Four. Others just prefer the simplicity and reliability of DOS.

I have been using alpha four since 1987. I recently had to replace my keyboard to a Loci. But, the function buttons do not work with my 1987 version. is there an adjustment I need to make or just purchase an updated version of the software. All I need is the most simple version. by database is not complex. More

How do I actually download the software? I click download and I get asked if I want to install software info. I don't want to, but if I don't install it the download window goes away. So I install that, and next it asks me if I want to install privacy keeper. I want to install alpha 4 and nothing else. How do I do that? More

Loved Alpha 4! When they stopped support for it it broke my heart! I was hoping this was a revival of the database but every time I tried to download, it brings me to a 'search' engine, not Alpha. Let me know if Alpha is reintroducing the greatest database software ever written, I'll buy it in a New York minute! More
